Effective date: August 24, 2026. These terms explain how refund, cancellation and credit requests are handled by The Lightness of Being.
Because offerings may include scheduled services, live events, trainings, memberships and digital materials, refund eligibility may vary by purchase type.
All refund requests are reviewed in good faith and in alignment with the nature of the offering purchased.
Private healing sessions may be rescheduled with advance notice, subject to availability.
Missed appointments or late cancellations may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Membership charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, unless otherwise required by law.
If you cancel a membership, access may continue through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
All payments for live events, workshops, ceremonies and gallery readings are final and non-refundable.
If weather or other circumstances require a date change, event tickets will transfer to the rescheduled date. If an event is canceled without a new date, attendees may be offered a transfer or credit at the discretion of the business.
To qualify for a full Reiki Rising refund, the request must be submitted within seven calendar days of purchase and received no later than September 20, 2026. Both conditions must be met.
After September 20, 2026, Reiki Rising tuition payments are non-refundable.
A Reiki Rising payment plan is a commitment to the full tuition amount. Choosing to withdraw, stop attending or discontinue portal use does not automatically cancel the remaining payments.
In a genuine hardship situation, a course credit or transfer to a future cohort may be considered individually. Credits and transfers are not guaranteed.
If The Lightness of Being cancels the entire training, the student may choose a refund of tuition paid or a transfer to a future cohort.
If a purchase includes immediate access to digital materials, downloads, recordings, or protected content, refunds may be limited once access has been granted.
Gift certificate purchases are generally non-refundable unless required by law or unless the purchase cannot be fulfilled.
If you believe a refund, transfer or credit should be considered, please contact the business with your name, purchase details and reason for the request.
Requests are reviewed individually and any exception remains at the discretion of the business unless otherwise required by law.
If you have a concern about a charge, please reach out first before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue directly.
